[He shakes his head.] Umm. Well, it's very strange. It's actually not my hometown, though I live there now. I came to study the town because there were all those rumors about how strange it was.....I was not remotely prepared. If it wasn't for Cecil's help, I would have completely lost it, I'm sure. Time wasn't working, everyone was exposed to intense levels of radiation but were suffering no ill effects, a sentient glowing cloud dropped dead animals on the town, possessed people in order to get them to hail it, and was subsequently elected president of the PTA.......The list goes on. Strange is every day life in Night Vale. The trick is to sort through the strange so you only worry about the truly malevolent and/or dangerous stuff.
